The Comic Sans Project Strikes Back

After the great Comic Sans Criminal, a project which tried to drag people finally away from this overused and horrible font, here’s the entertaining opposite: The Comic Sans Project:

WE ARE THE COMIC SANS DEFENDERS. WE FEAR NO FONTS AND WE WILL MAKE THE WHOLE WORLD COMIC SANS.
BECAUSE HELVETICA IS SOOO 2011

Keep an eye on them, their collection is ever-growing.

Comic Sans is a casual script typeface imitating fonts used in comic books. The modern Comic Sans was designed by Vincent Connare and released in 1994 by Microsoft. It is designed for use in informal documents but the font’s widespread use, often in situations for which it was not intended, has been criticized.

  1. I too think the Comic Sans font is horrible. I do not understand why people use it. The project to kill this font is welcome. The defenders of this font are funny. I hope criminals will succeed. Mwuhahaha.
