Pixel art of the old harbour in Chania: whitewashed houses with red roofs along the quay, bougainvillea on the walls, a fishing boat moored at the pier and the stone lighthouse across the water

The old harbour in Chania is a half circle of Venetian houses with a lighthouse at the end of the pier. The Venetians put the first one there, the Egyptians rebuilt it in the 1830s, and that is the one still standing.

Bougainvillea on half the walls, one fishing boat that has seen better decades, and the White Mountains in the back.

Beautiful.
