Good day, 26.6.26!

26-06-26

Good day, 26.6.26. I have a soft spot for dates that line up, and today’s does: a 26 at each end with a single 6 sitting in the middle. Too good to let pass, so I spent a little time turning it into a generative toy.

The result is a piece I called Mirror. Thousands of tiny points wander around on their own, gather into the numbers for a moment, then let go and drift off again — on a loop, no clicking required. I kept it strictly black and white save for one loud colour down the middle. If you do reach in, the dots scatter under your cursor, a tap sends a ripple and switches the audio on, and from then on sweeping across them rings out little notes that are tuned to never clash.

Have a play!
