Introducing the Personal Computer

I turned my website into an old PC.

Explore in your browser Boot the computer → Turn the sound on for the beeps and disk-drive noises.

Personal Computer is the new edition of nader.io, inspired by the IBM PC. Violet stripes, cyan text, a boot sequence and a working command line. Type ll to look around, read readme.txt, or browse my writing, projects and art.

The striped NADER wordmark beside previews of all six Personal Computer mini games.

There are six mini games tucked into the directory:

  • HEADCRASH: Breakout with tiny hard disks for bricks.
  • FLOPPYDASH: dig through cables, collect floppies and dodge falling drives.
  • DISKINVADERS: defend your computer by firing floppy disks at invaders.
  • DOSLANDER: land a computer tower on the moon. Gently.
  • FLAKE: Snake with a floppy-disk diet.
  • MICROKONG: climb past Bill Gates’ sliding MS-DOS packages and rescue the floppy.

Click an .exe or type its name to play. Keyboard and touch controls work throughout.
