Lemons from Antarctica is live

Lemons from Antarctica is now live, an art project dressed up as a luxury product page for ‘Glacier Gold’, a citrus that is cultivated inside a geothermal-heated biome at Vostok Station, the coldest inhabited place on Earth.

It’s a piece about provenance, scarcity, and the absurd lengths luxury branding will go to. A fruit of impossible purity, raised under polar night and aurora, harvested in a single narrow window each polar summer. What is not reserved, simply does not exist.
